The whole Elektrobay® concept has been designed to be “cash-less” for efficiency and offer “pay-as-you-go” credits method for subscribers or SMS payment for guest users via the open mobile platform on 4242. Subscribers and guests can have access to the whole network of Elektrobay® recharging stations in Europe.

In just "1-2-3", you connect your EV in the most secure way to the Elektrobay® and start refueling your battery with green and renewable energy.

 

To access the Elektrobay® network the user has an electronic (RFID) card–received from the owner of the Elektrobay®- that communicates wirelessly with the unit. This system is the same for open mobile platform via SMS on 4242.

The user is up and loading in just 1-2-3:

 

Step 1:

When a valid RFID access card is held against the RFID reader on the Elektrobay®, the waterproof access door automatically opens.

 

  

Step 2:

The user can plug their power lead into the socket of the Elektrobay®.

 

 

Stap 3:

Upon closing of the access door it locks securely and the power turns on and starts recharging automatically.

 As simple as that!

 

The Elektrobay® is a very safe design and as a security feature, once the door is closed and the recharging started, it can only be reopened by the same access card. Again just in 3 steps:

Step 1:

Present the same RFID card to the Elektrobay®, the access panel reopens.

 

 

Step 2:

You can now safely remove the power lead from the Elektrobay®.

 

 

Step 3:

Close the access panel and you are back on the road driving with with sustainable energy..

 

 

The Elektrobay® is fitted with an active display panel that informs the user of its current status and can be programmed to notify the user when their Elektrobay® access RFID card is about to expire. It will also show the user‘s name and vehicle registration number. The bespoke intelligent, electronic, operating software has been designed with many innovative features available to the user. It can be specified for use in any country around the world, exceeds all current safety legislation and is available in almost any colour.

To increase its usability, the main visual feature of the Elektrobay® are the indicator ledsat the top of the unit. This indicator enables the state of the Elektrobay® to be easily seen at anytime from a distance.
